Vickie Fugazzotto - Interim Treasurer

Vickie’s bond with Lakewood is deeply personal. Her parents, the Vivar's, were among the original property owners, spending weekends at their beloved A-frame cabin—planting trees, tending the yard, and creating a peaceful retreat for their grandchildren. When they retired to Florida in 1997, Vickie stepped in to preserve the property and the memories it held, ensuring that her family could continue enjoying Lakewood for generations to come.
Today, Vickie still treasures quiet weekends at Lakewood with her parent's now-grown grandchildren and extended family—except, of course, during the lively Fourth of July celebrations, which she embraces with joy and enthusiasm.
Professionally, Vickie is a retired business executive with over 30 years of experience in finance, accounting, and auditing. Her career spans both small businesses and Fortune 500 companies, where she built a reputation for precision, integrity, and a deep commitment to transparency. She brings a strong foundation in budgeting, financial reporting, and asset stewardship—skills she now channels into supporting the Lakewood community.
Vickie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting. With her blend of professional expertise and heartfelt dedication, she looks forward to contributing to the Lakewood POA board and helping ensure the community continues to thrive.
Barb Berken - Interim Secretary

I have been excited to volunteer for the Board and help keep communication transparent and flowing for all property owners.
I graduated UW-Whitewater with a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Communication and Sociology. I am a credit union industry professional for the past 28 years and have served on boards and reported to boards throughout my entire career. My background includes leadership, operations, accounting, auditing, information technology, digital operations and project management.
I have enjoyed Lakewood POA for 17 years and have created some amazing memories here. I love all things outdoors and simply enjoying some conversation and campfires. Born and raised in Green Bay, I bleed green and gold and am always ready for some team bantering. You will always find me on the water, hanging out on the deck with a good book and taking walks through nature. I appreciate the opportunity to serve the community and keep working to make the association all that it can be so that we can all continue to make some amazing memories here.
Carin Tio - Director
Term 2024-2027
Carin Tio has owned property in Lakewood Subdivision for 21 years. Carin purchased her first home in 1999 and the second home in 2016. Carin and her husband Wayne enjoy coming up and spending time boating, riding their UTV and also enjoy the beach and common areas with their children and 6 grandchildren. Carin is currently working full-time for Henry Schein in West Allis as an Inside Sales Coordinator and also holds a real estate license in Wisconsin.
Jesse James - Director

Jesse James was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I'm a Vietnam veteran and a retired Cook County Sheriff. I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren and greats. I've been a home owner here in Arkdale since June 1987. I love going out on my boat and spending time on the water.
